Magic Erasers

If you are like me and you have little ones, chances are that crayons and markers have been used on other surfaces besides paper. I was introduced to Mr. Clean Magic Erasers by my mom. They really are magic. With little effort at all it you can get rid of scuff marks on the floor, crayon on the wall and you can even shine up the hubcaps on your car. All you do is add water and voila good as new!

Stewart Brown

I am highly interested in organic clothing...so here is one of my favorite organic women's clothing stores.

With all the talk of organic baby goods where do moms actually play a part in this? can we find decent clothing that is not only fashionable but earth friendly? Yes we sure can! Stewart Brown has actually created a whole line just around organic fabrics and boy have they done a fabulous job! They offer so many wonderful organic clothing options like tops and tees, dresses and skirts, and even a whole line of woven's and specialty clothing. And who would have thought that organic clothing could be so cute? Not me I thought they all just came with huge "save the earth" logos. That's not horrible but who can actually wear those out everyday and look fabulous.

This Kisser Fish tee is another one of my favorites. Since the key to hiding any extra weight moms (buy a longer shirt it makes you look slimmer) I actually think these tees are great for any mom, super comfortable, long and fashionable. There are many other styles to pick from. Besides this collection Stewart Brown also offers a great variety in graphic tops and even bags!

Sports Bra

It is often very hard for me to find bras that fit and have good support. I recently went on e-bay looking for a sports bra. After looking for a while I came across a bra that was described as "Full support back closure sport bra." I have to admit that I was skeptical of ordering a bra off of the internet. My bra came yesterday and I am in love! This sports bra blows away any sports bra I have ever owned. I used to have to wear three bras to the gym but now I only have to wear this one.

The Iron Giant

This is one of the cutest movies that I have seen in a long time. My husband was the one that suggested we watch it with the kids. I absolutely loved it. It is about a robot that crash lands on earth, and ends up in a small town in Maine. There he meets a boy named Hogarth. Hogarth teaches the robot about being a good person and what is right, he also shows him his favorite comics. The Robot then decides that he wants to be superman. It really is a sweet movie and it is entertaining for adults as well!

On her own terms

Something that I have realized about cats is that they do stuff on their own terms. You can sit there and make a squeaky voice calling "kitty kitty kitty," they might give you a sideways glance. Or you might get to see a slit of color when they look at you with annoyance.
I have a female cat or "queen" (the technical term) her name is Roo and she is 3 years old. This cat is a killing machine, she has killed chipmunks, lizards, mice, rats and even a gray squirrel (I saw the remains.) It's been great because we no longer have a mouse problem in the house. Mice are a huge problem where I live!
Recently she has warmed up and softened up. When we are outside she is often only a few feet away from the kids. We lovingly refer to her as the babysitter when we see her doing this. For some strange reason she has taken to my husband. He is a big old construction worker, who is loud and rough. But when she sees him walking up she flops on the ground and waits for him to give her scratchies.
But she will only do this on her own terms because once she has had enough she jumps up and bolts. It is very sweet to see the relationship she has with each family member. I love my Roo Roo.

Sometimes I feel like I am stuck in the stone age because I do not have a digital camera. So imagine my excitement when I came across this giveaway over at "The Secret is in the Sauce!" It is a red Sony Cyber-shot W150 ($250 value)...8.1 Megapixels, 5x optical zoom and 30m wide-angle lens. Go over there and leave a comment. Who knows you might win!

My sister and brother

So my sister moved yesterday. She moved to Arizona with my Grandparents. I miss her so much already. She was like a built in friend, she always helped me out and played with the kids. But I am happy for her, she is going to save up money and get a car. The kids don't quite understand either, they keep asking why they can't go too. She won't be gone forever but I miss my sister....

I miss my brother too. He lives in Ocean Beach and works at a brewery. He used to work for Dye paintball. We didn't really get along when we were little but it seems that since I had Kayla that we can actually hold a conversation. He is my big brother and I have looked up to him for as long as I can remember. I seriously have the best siblings ever. <3

We went camping

I have been kinda busy. We went camping two weekends in a row. It was really fun, James caught his first fish. He was so excited! When he saw the fish come out of the water he practically screamed "MOMMY! Look at the sish!" (Yes it is a sish) lol. Kayla is absolutely obsessed with bugs. There are these spiders there that look like walking cotton balls. Very odd bug. I didn't care for them much. We also caught a horny toad (yes we let him go).
I got a lovely sunburn but all in all it was a lot of fun.

A Great Giveaway!!!

Go over to mommymandy's blog! She is having a giveaway for a purse from "The SAK"
Go look.....now!

My husband

I met my husband when I was 12 years old. I loved him from the day I met him, I even wrote "I love Jimmy" in the dirt on that first day. We didn't start dating until we were 17. When we were 19 we became pregnant with our first child, a girl names Kayla. Then when we were 21 we had a boy names James. Jimmy is such a good dad, he loves to bring them home surprises. We got married in 2006 and it snowed almost 2 feet that day. So I guess if rain is good luck then snow is really good luck?

Too funny

My daughter has this thing that she does with her hands. She hold them together and makes them warm and then has to come show me. It makes me laugh because she does it everyday.

My son sang to me this morning, I got serenaded with "ABC's", he was so proud!

They make my heart swell!

My kids

I have two children, a girl names Kayla who is 4 and a boy named James who is 3. I had Kayla when I was 19 and James when I was 21. Kayla is my handful, she is a climber and very independent. She loves to color, and has to have her baby doll sleep with her every night. James is my little mama's boy, while he does love boy things he will also take a step back and observe before he tries something. They both definitely keep me on my toes, as they are forever trying to run out the front door.
The next big thing that will be happening in our life is that Kayla will be going to Kindergarten. She is so very excited for it and I know that she is ready to learn and grow.

About me

Hello! My name is Sandra, this is my first blog and I am still learning about blogging, so bear with me.
I am 24, I have been married to my husband Jimmy for about 2 1/2 years now. I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works in construction. I have two beautiful children name Kayla (4 1/2) and James (3). Kayla is starting kindergarten in August and I couldn't be more excited!

I have a couple hobbies, first I love to bake! I actually wake up and think about what I would like to bake today, I love trying out new recipes. I also love to crochet, it is a nice hobby to have especially when it snows.
