Stellarocco

Like I have said before, I am all about comfort when it comes to clothes. This is why I love Stellarocco™. Not only are they comfortable but they are super cute. All of the shirts are botanically themed. Inspired by the fusion of nature and art, designer/owner Dina Paulos matches original designs with specific color, style and placement, to create arsty, yet versatile favorites that can be dressed up or down. Subtle metallics, brights and tonal prints transform the shirt canvas into a collection of wearable art. Stellarocco™ modern independent designs have appeared in magazines, on national TV and celebrities. The tops are currently available in select boutiques worldwide.
I have the shirt called "Poppies." I love the color and the design on the front. It is a lightweight sheer jersey so it is great for wearing out or around the house. If you are looking to make a statement go on over to Stellarocco™ and check it out.

Layers Clothing

I am all about comfort and style. I will not wear a shirt or a pair of pants if I am uncomfortable. This is why I love Layers Clothing, it is hip and chic but most of all it is super comfy.

One of my favorites is the Calcutta. It is very comfortable and it is so cute. It has long sleeves and a cute floral cut out in the back to add that extra wow. You could wear it with a pair of jeans or even with a cute skirt. It is pretty versatile.

Another of my favorites is the Cairo. It too is long sleeve and it is just adorable. It has the cutest, yet subtle key holes on the neck line. I personally like the black but it also come in cappuccino and mulberry.

My last favorite from the Fall line is Chicago. It is a quarter length sleeve with a scoop neck line. It comes in salmon or slate and would look fabulous with a necklace or a chunky bracelet.

Make sure that you go to the Layers website and check out their fall collection.

FlattenMe

I am in love. As soon as I opened the box I was in love. I flipped through every page and had tears in my eyes from laughing. James loves his book and he is so proud to show it off. FlattenMe makes books with your child's picture in it. They tell a whole story and your child's name and picture is on every page. We got the book titled "The Day that Came to Play."

The story behind FlattenMe:
All stories have a beginning. This is ours.

Not long ago, a little girl was caught on film eating a gobstopper – 15 photos taken over 24 minutes and 10 seconds. The photos were arranged in a book and given to the girl as a special gift. It was love at first sight. The little girl slept with it, ate with it, took it on road trips. Love-worn and long-admired, the book slowly fell apart, just like the fur on the Velveteen Rabbit.

Our lives are defined by stories – stories of childhood, of triumph, of loss. Even wild stories of the imagination. When a child pretends to be a pirate or a princess or a fairy, she truly believes she has changed, become part of a different world for that moment in time. She has invented a new story of her own.

It is in this world – one of imagination, inspiration and gifts of the heart – in which flattenme was born. We seek not only to spark the imagination of a child, but to take a story which starts as a moment in time – a photograph – and then becomes something entirely new.

So, storytelling first. And then, what? Wonderment and delight is not the sole domain of children. We all have the chance to find magic within ourselves, allowing our own stories to unfold. As Arthur Clarke says, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Stay tuned.

Go to their site and order a book or two or three. I promise you will treasure and love the book.

Bath Luve'

Giving baby her first bath is something you will always remember. You will remember how much the baby screamed and how fast the water cooled down. I really wish that I would have had a Bath Luve' when my kids were babies.
Introducing the Bath Luve'! All you do is submerge the Bath Luve' into the nice warm water and drape it over your infant. The natural design completely covers baby's torso and stays put to keep them feeling warm and secure.
The Story:
When Amy Sekinger's son Austin was born 10 years ago, she looked for something to make bath time a little more pleasant. "Before I put Austin in the tub, he was all warm, swathed and cuddly" she says. But that calmness soon turned to frustration and crying once the clothes were off and only Austin's back was placed in the warm water.
Thinking that bath time would go more smoothly if there wasn't such a drastic temperature change, the Delafield resident designed a cloth covering that would cover her son's chest and private parts. The idea, dubbed the Bath Luve', has gone from a mother's practical solution to the mass market retail world.

Where were you?

I was just getting out of the shower and I turned the dial on my little clock radio to my favorite station. The jokers that hosted the show always played pranks and made up stories for a laugh. So I really didn't think anything of it. I walked downstairs with my towel on my head. I put water in the tea kettle and poured some shredded wheat into my bowl. After I had my cup of tea and my cereal I made my way into the living room. I sat down and turned on the T.V. Now see at the time I was living with my grandparents and all that my grandpa watched was FOX news. So the T.V was already on a news channel. I thought that I was going to throw up my cereal when I saw those images. They played it over and over and over and over.........I thought that maybe it could be a mistake but then a second plane hit the other tower and I knew then that this was no accident. I remember that was the first day that I really learned what the Taliban was. I ran upstairs to my grandparents room and I saw that they were glued infront of their T.V. My grandma's hair was half curled and my grandpop just stood there with his shaver in his hand. I think that all I said was "Are you watching the news?"
They took me to school and all of the teachers were panicked and crying. I went to my first period which was government. We didn't do any work all day, all of the T.V.' s were on; so no matter where you went it was there. I will never ever forget that day...it feels like it was yesterday. The images and events are still very sharp and clear in my mind.
Where were you?

isABelt

There will be no more tugging, pulling, or cracks showing with this versatile belt. The isABelt is a clear alternative to the belt. That's exactly what it is too!
isABelt is the ORIGINAL virtually invisible, fully adjustable belt that keeps your outfit looking great by keeping your pants in place. isABelt is a 1/2 inch wide, strong, flexible belt that seems to virtually disappear when worn. isABelt is comfortable and does a little magic allowing you the subtle assurance that all is secure. isABelt is a utility device a Fashion “fix it” that is flexible strong comfortable and tested to last.
I was sceptical at first, I mean how could this dinky piece of plastic keep my pants from slipping down all day? Well it did just that, and it did it well. Between getting my kids in and out of the car, mopping the floor and vacuuming the isABelt kept my pants up. I give this product a two thumbs up.

DaBib

DaBib is the newest and best innovation in baby bibs. With its "scrunch collar"* and flexible, functional design, this "baby" is a must-have for your baby. Let's face it, feeding your little Prince or Princess can be a royal mess. But when it comes to catching every drip, drop and dribble, regular bibs fall short - literally! DaBib's "scrunch collar"* minimizes leakage of liquids and solid foods onto the baby's clothing, reducing stains and the hassle of frequent changing. With both the super absorbent micro fiber terry face and the waterproof backing, DaBib's innovative design doesn't just raise the neckline, it raises the bar, providing the ultimate in coverage, comfort, durability and versatility, for infants through toddlers.

This is no ordinary bib, it is soft, pretty and most of all comfortable on your little ones neck. It keeps the food off of your child's clothes and keeps the mess on the bib. It also has a really cool food catcher at the bottom, so no more food in the lap. Go over to DaBib and check it out. I will definitely be giving this as a gift at future baby showers!

Maisy the Mouse

Maisy is a colorful, lovable mouse with a nose for adventure. She is very much like a human toddler, with a few mouse like attributes such as her ears, tail, and whiskers. But she has hands and feet, not paws! She also has animal friends and toys who share her world, including Cyril the squirrel, Tallulah the chick, Charley the crocodile, Eddie the elephant, and her favorite Panda toy. Maisy´s adventures are an entertaining approach to guiding children through life´s funny, frustrating, and fantastic moments.
The story lines are a safe guide to the everyday experiences that are very new for toddlers, such as making friends, riding tricycles, going swimming, playing in the garden, and "reading" books. Maisy introduces basic concepts such as colors, numbers, sorting, and matching, while never losing her sense of play.

The Maisy books are very high quality and extremely fun to read, the pictures pop out and the pop up feature is so fun.

"Happy Birthday Maisy"

"Maisy's ABC's"

"Maisy at the farm"

"Maisy at the Playground"

And my favorite, a huge pop up playhouse

So go over to www.candlewick.com and get some of these wonderful books for your little one. I promise you will love them and your child will love to read them over and over.
