Pillsbury Savorings Flaky Pastry Bites

I would like to introduce you to a little piece of heaven, it is called Pillsbury Savorings Flaky Pastry Bites. They are absolutely delicious! It is a warm, flaky pastry dough wrapped around tasty fillings and come in three varieties; cheese and spinach, buffalo style chicken and mozzarella and pepperoni. They are easy to prepare (just 20 minutes in the oven) and are the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine. I tried the mozzarella and pepperoni kind. Yum yum yum! Between the flaky pastry and the mozzarella cheese I was in heaven. Even though they are a snack food that you put in the oven, you can still make it special. Just pop them in the oven, open a bottle of wine and curl up on your couch.

Would you like to win a coupon to try Pillsbury Savorings Flaky Pastry Bites?
Along with the coupon you will receive:
A wine bottle topper
Wine glass charms
A bottle opener
A wine and food guide
Stamp able wine tags
An appetizer plate that also holds your wine glass.

Just leave me a comment telling me how you keep warm in the winter.
Contest ends October 23.
PLEASE LEAVE A VALID E-MAIL.

Keeping warm here in Southern California during the winter is easier than it was in the Rocky Mountains. I basically open the drapes during the day to capture the warmth of the sunlight. At night I use a throw, fuzzy slippers, and drink warm herbal tea or hot cocoa while settling down to read my decorating magazines. Baking Pillsbury cakes or cookies helps, too.

I'm smart I left the cold winters of Chicago for sunny Phoenix over twenty years ago and never looked back.

nickyle said...

Because I have a bad back a few years ago both my nieces made me rice packs for Christmas. If you don't know what rice packs are they are material pillows filled with rice (yes, plain every day rice). These were made in pretty Christmas fleece. Anyway, you put them in the microwave for a few minutes and they stay warm for long periods. (So much better than heating pads that you put on high and can fall asleep with!).
When it is super cold I heat them up and put them under the blankets, cheaper and safer than expensive electric ran blankets or heating pads, so when I get in bed it is nice and warm and I snuggle with them while I fall asleep.
We have since obtained a few more of these and I use them when my kids have tummy troubles, my back hurts, you just want something warm.
Oh and I also have lots of hoodies and blankets laying around. You can never be too cozy.
